Animal presentations to be held on zoo grounds or off zoo grounds.

If you are hosting a reunion, family gathering, retirement party, work picnic, corporate gathering, birthday party or any number of social gatherings here on the Montgomery Zoo grounds, add a little wildlife flare to the occasion. Our Education Department can bring animals to your self-hosted gathering and/or party so your guests can get an up close and personal wildlife encounter.

Presentations are 15-30 minutes in length and feature three (3) animals. Animal presentation fees are $75 per presentation. Education presentations will be held at the Education Pavilion, located adjacent to the Flamingo exhibit in our South American realm*. You may request 3 specific animals the Friday prior to the party up until the party date by calling (334) 625-4909. Animals requested are not guaranteed and are subject to change without notice by education staff.  This policy is for the safety of our animals and visitors.

Fees for Animal Presentations do not include admission to the Zoo.

*If you have rented a shelter, for your and party's convenience, we can make your animal presentation at the shelter you have selected.

Off zoo grounds presentations (outreach programs) 

If you are hosting a reunion, family gathering, retirement party, work picnic, corporate gathering, birthday party, or any number of social gatherings at your home, office, church, add a little wildlife flare to the occasion. Our Education Department's Zoo2Go program can bring animals to your self-hosted gathering and/or party so your guests can get an up close and personal wildlife encounter.

Presentations are typically 45-60 minutes in length and feature 6-8 animals. Animal presentation fees are based on the presentation, number of people attending, and distance the Zoo2Go van must travel to your event.

We have a collection of insects, reptiles, small mammals, exotic birds, and birds of prey. You may request specific animals within 24 hours prior to your event by calling (334) 625-4909. Animals requested are not guaranteed and are subject to change without notice by education staff. Changes are made based on animal husbandry and the animal's well-being.
