Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you. Who doesn't love celebrating their birthday? There is nothing more exciting than celebrating someone's special day. Why not celebrate at the Montgomery Zoo with hundreds of your animal friends?  The Montgomery Zoo's Education Department is offering birthday party packages on Saturday and Sundays. Bring your friends and presents, and we will provide the rest. 

Montgomery Zoo birthday party packages are only available on Saturday and Sundays.

Available Party Times
     -- Morning party: 11am - 12:30pm
     -- Afternoon party: 2pm - 3:30pm*

PARTY RESERVATIONS MUST BE MADE, PAID FOR, and CONFIRMED AT LEAST ONE WEEK IN ADVANCE PRIOR TO THE ACTUAL PARTY DATE.

Party arrival time at OUTDOOR Education Pavilion is no earlier than 30 minutes prior to your scheduled party time. You are free to visit the Zoo/Museum prior to your party; however, our staff needs set up time prior to your party's arrival.

*If you are hosting an afternoon party (2:30pm-4:30pm), we suggest you visit the Zoo and Museum prior to your party, so you and your guests have plenty of time to see all the Zoo animals, Museum, and attractions before attending the birthday celebration. 

All party packages include set-up and clean up. Zoo staff will remove all trash, decorations, and debris from the area; as well as, aid guests in taking birthday presents to their vehicle. Guests are allowed to bring additional decorations; however, we do ask that guests refrain from bring any type balloon, plastic lids, and/or plastic straws, glass container, alcoholic beverages, and cooking devices. This is for the safety and well-being of our animals. The three packages available are:

Zebra Package: $390

Zebra package includes:

• Ten (10) zoo admission day passes (can be used for adults or children)
• Reserved area at the OUTDOOR Education Pavilion for 2 hours (Pavilion located in the Zoo's South American realm)
• Party set-up and clean-up provided by Zoo
• Small snacks (goldfish crackers) and beverages (juice boxes) for up to ten (10) guests
• Individual cupcakes for up to ten (10) guests
• Table settings (plates, napkins, utensils, and tablecloths) for up to ten (10) guests
• One (1) animal visitor (animal will be an Education animal; either a small mammal, reptile, birds of prey, or exotic birds)

Additional Zebra package guest(s): $18 per additional guest

Lion Package: $525

• Fifteen (15) zoo admission day passes (can be used for adults or children)
• Reserved area at the OUTDOOR Education Pavilion for 2 hours (Pavilion located in the Zoo's South American realm)
• Party set-up and clean-up provided by Zoo
• Individual-sized cheese pizza* per guest (15)
• Beverages (lemonade and water) for up to fifteen (15) guests
• Individual cupcakes for up to fifteen (15) guests
• Table settings (plates, napkins, utensils, and tablecloths) for up to fifteen (15) guests
• Two (2) animal visitors (animals will be an Education animal; either a small mammal, reptile, birds of prey, or exotic birds)

Additional Lion package guest(s): $24 per additional guest

*Parties booked on Sunday morning might experience a slight delay in the delivery of pizza due to pizza vendor operating hours.

Elephant Package $650

• Twenty (20) zoo admission day passes (can be used for adults or children)
• Reserved area at the OUTDOOR Education Pavilion for 2 hours (Pavilion located in the Zoo's South American realm)
• Party set-up and clean-up provided by Zoo
• Individual-sized  cheese pizza* per guest (20)
• Beverages (lemonade and water) for up to twenty (20) guests
• Individual cupcakes for up to twenty (20) guests
• Table settings (plates, napkins, utensils, and tablecloths) for up to twenty (20) guests
• Three (3) animal visitors (animals will be an Education animal; either a small mammal, reptile, birds of prey, or exotic birds)
• One (1) plush animal keepsake for the birthday child

Additional Elephant package guest(s): $24 per additional guest

Package Additions

Customize your party package to make it your own, and fit the needs of your special birthday person and guests.  You may select from the add-on list below for any party package.

• Appearance by Zoobeedoo (Montgomery Zoo zebra mascot), 30 minutes: $100
• Additional cheese pizza(s): $6 per pizza, individual-sized pizzas
• Additional pepperoni pizza(s): $6.50 per pizza, individual-sized pizzas
• Additional cupcakes: $1.50 per cupcake
• Animal guests: $30 per animal, up to five (5) animals
• Jungle Decorations, includes centerpieces, banner, and streamers: $75
• Goodie bags: $8 per child

All party package fees must be paid in advance and at the time of making the reservation. Should you need to cancel your reservation for any reason including weather, a $100 fee will be accessed (no exceptions). Should you need to reschedule your party for another day, you may do that within 48 hours of your scheduled party without having to pay the $100 fee. Should you reschedule after the 48 hour period lapses, you will be charged an additional $100 fee to reschedule.
