SCHOOL and SCHOOL-RELATED GROUPS of 20 or more paying guests receive special, discounted admission. In addition to the discounted admission, for every 15 paying students in your group, you will receive a FREE teacher admission. To receive full benefit of the group discount, you must have an advanced reservation.

School group admission fees
(with a group of 20 or more paying admissions, advanced reservations required):

• Students (3-12 years old): $11.50
• Adults (13+ years old): $15
• Toddlers (2 years old and younger): FREE 
• Teachers: 1 teacher FREE for every 15 paying students
• Parents: In order to receive the discount, parents must to be included with the school reservation.  If parents are not included, they will have to pay the REGULAR admission price for entry.

Admission pricing effective October 1, 2021. 

School group admission includes:

• Admission to the Zoo
• Admission to the Mann Wildlife Learning Museum 
• Entry to Parakeet Cove
• Entry to Waters of the World
• Entry to Reptile Facility

Avoid the wait when checking in at the Zoo and Museum. Group leaders may pay for and pick up wristbands and/or attraction ride tickets prior to their group's scheduled visit date. Pay with a credit card while making online reservations or pay at the Zoo prior to the group's scheduled visit date. If you want to pay over the phone, please call (334) 625-4905. Then on the scheduled visit date, you and your group can bypass the lines waiting for wristbands and tickets. 

Parents, chaperones, friends and family members not included in the group reservation will have to pay regular admission rather than the discounted rate. In order for parents, chaperones, friends, family members to receive the discounted admission rate, they MUST BE INCLUDED in the group reservation and payment.

Need to make changes to an existing reservation: If you already have a school group reservation and you need to make updates and/or revisions, please contact the Montgomery Zoo directly. We will gladly make any updates to your reservation and send you a new confirmation. Please give us a call at (334) 625-4905.

NEW GIRAFFE ENCOUNTER HOURS AND POLICY: In an effort to limit daily encounters, Giraffe Encounter tickets will no longer be sold online and with group reservations. Giraffe Encounter tickets will only be sold at the Giraffe Encounter Station on the day of your visit, effective April 10, 2023.

See a vast collection of Education animals up close and personal while learning about where they come from, what role they play in our planet's ecosystem, and why it is important to protect them and species like them. We have lots of programs to select from, and a collection of animals including small mammals, reptiles, amphibians, exotic birds, insects, and birds of prey.

Overlook Cafe concessions hours: The Overlook Cafe is open:

     -- The Overlook Cafe is located in the center of the Zoo near the train depot.
